Alchemilla Mollis – 2 litre pot

A favourite royal plant from the 16th century, also called “Ladies Mantle, it has been used for its lovely velvet leaves and delicate frothy yellow sprays of flowers borne from late May through to the frosts if dead-headed. Invaluable ground coverage but growing to a height of up to 18 inches. Extremely hardy and reliable, it may self seed throughout the garden.

Attracts pollinators: The honey-scented flowers of Alchemilla mollis attract pollinating insects. 

Resistant to pests: The downy leaves of Alchemilla mollis are generally avoided by slugs, snails, deer, and rabbits.

Good for wildlife areas: Alchemilla mollis can be a useful addition to wildlife areas.
