Comfrey – Grandiflorum – 2 Litre pot

Symphytum Grandiflorum is the Native Ground Cover Comfrey.

This low growing Comfrey is just gorgeous for those difficult shady areas in a garden, perhaps under a tree or dense hedge where it will work very hard for you, providing beautiful flowers which are so perfect for the pollinators and large leaves for you to make “Comfrey Tea” so that you can fertilise the garden plants for FREE! Comfrey is an amazing plant with so many uses apart from being traditionally pretty; If you cut the leaves comfrey simply behaves like cut and come again lettuce and provides as many as you need, so you can mulch the beds and borders with them too.  It is obvious Bee food, but all our pollinators won’t be able to resist it.  I always think you can “Hear” comfrey always alive with the sound of busy wings tucking into the feast its flowers provide.
