Fennel – Foeniculum Vulgare – 2 litre pot

For me Fennel is the frothy finish to any garden, I cannot see how you could ever have too much?….. I let it flow and wonder wherever it wants with its delicate ferny foliage, it just fills the air with aniseed fragrance and I use it in most of my cooking just for health reasons, it is so very good for you! I cut it for a vase where it keeps very well in the kitchen too. The flowers are stunning and there isn’t a pollinator that can resist…..

Fennel is a flowering plant species in the carrot family, and it is of course completely hardy. This perennial herb is indigenous to the shores of the Mediterranean but has become widely naturalized in many parts of the world, especially on dry soils near the sea-coast and on riverbanks.

The yellow flowers attract hoverflies which eat aphids so is a must in the rose garden flowing through like a fluffy pathway, not taking the eye off of the roses but complimenting them.
