Iris Confusa – VERY RARE – 2 litre tall pot

We are confident that this plant is completely rare and unusual; We have never found it for sale anywhere. 

Originally from Western China it is an upright perennial with fans of mid green leaves borne on bamboo-like stems which are 1 – 3 feet high. In the spring tall single stems produce 4-6 PERFECT miniature iris flowers, ranging from white through to palest lilac, an amazing plant causing great interest wherever we show it, it is also Evergreen, which is almost shocking, keeping its incredible appearance in all but the harshest of winters.  The old leaves/fans can be removed whenever you would like, the plant will just send up more new ones.

We have learnt with this wonderful rare plant is as tough as old boots and not at all difficult, it is thriving in both a sunny or shaded border.
