Iris – Perry’s Blue – tall 2 litre pot

We thought we had lost our stock of this little Iris, but we have found a few survivors in which to take stock. 

We think it has been taken out of production and cant find it anywhere else so we may be the only grower.  Even though it will take time to take more stock it will be worth it.

 This delicate and graceful Iris grows to 3ft and is a sturdy clump-forming, herbaceous perennial with narrow, elegant, strap-shaped leaves. Flowering in late spring to early summer. It bears perfect clear blue flowers with white and yellow markings and dark blue veins on the falls. 

This Siberian iris is so graceful, and yet very tough and hardy.  Perrys Blue dates back to 1912 when it was introduced by Amos Perry (1871-1953).
