Lychnis Coronaria White Seeds

Such a cheerful little plant for the middle of the border, it likes sun or part sun and will form a small clump, cut back once the flowers have finished. We have both pink and white flowers here, we are sorry we did not separate the seed colours! The foliage is a lovely silver grey and the flowers from on mid height stalks, with 4 -5 flowers per stalk.

Indoors, surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Press seeds lightly into soil but do not cover. Light is needed for germination. Ideal temp. 20°C. Germination takes 10-20 days. Transplant seedlings when they have 2 sets of true leaves to 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out once danger of frost has passed.

OR, can be sown directly in spring or summer, this to 50cm spacing. Autumn sowings should overwinter indoors planting out the following spring.
