Lysimachia Punctata 2 litre pot

This yellow loosestrife is a happy plant in miserable conditions, it loves the shade and the damp, or even a bog. Ours is in the Cow Shed garden and it grows in under a foot of soil with its feet on concrete foundations!

A European native, its named after the Macedonian King of Thrace or Lysimachus!

It has bright green leaves and lovely happy yellow star shaped flowers.

Its a vigorous grower to cover some nasty area in your garden and its a cheerful wall of colour.

Hardy, leave until the Spring to cut back once new growth emerges so the insects have somewhere to hide.
