Passiflora (Passion Flower) 10 litres on frame

Passiflora, known also as the passion flowers or passion vine.  A relatively easy climber for any garden, it is vigorous and can be deciduous in cold windy parts of the country or semi-evergreen in warmer counties, climbing with twining tendrils, mine has made its way through the window and into the bathroom which is wonderful in the summer time but not quite so lovely in the winter.

Passion flower has a good rich dark green leaf, with 5-7 finger-like lobes and will tolerate shade or sun.  Flowers are just gorgeous, looking so exotic they can be up to 8cm in width, white, with blue and purple coronal filaments. I personally snack on the oval orange fruits skin and all! and my grandchildren are learning to too.
