Physostegia White – The Obedient Plant – 2 litre pot
This is the Original “Obedient Plant” it does just that, stays where you plant it and is not at all like its “naughty” American cousin Rose Crown.
She is a compact little gem, and a real cottage garden favourite, growing to a small, upright clump of fresh green leaves topped with spikes of tubular white flowers from midsummer through to autumn. The individual flowers resemble small snapdragons and are attractive to butterflies. An easy plant to grow which will spread slowly and happily in a border over time, but not invasive. The flowers are long lasting and good for cutting.
