POTENTILLA MISS WILLMOT – 2 LITRE POT

I was bowled over by this variety in 2010 and have grown from seed ever since.  A very easy plant to keep, fully hardy and reliable, from strawberry leaf folliage she will send up long tall stems of very striking clear pink flowers with a cherry coloured eye for most of the late spring and summer.

Miss Willmott grows with a lovely relaxed habit, her flowers can appear to pop out of neighbouring growth, so a very valuable colour-plant and gap filler for a border with mid-height bareness, I have done this myself and it looks superb.

Miss Willmott will grow well in shade or sun, and the flower stems  can reach 40 inches which is tall for a potentilla.  A very hardy and reliable plant absolutely at home in any herbaceous border giving an air of floral romance.
