Salvia Hot Lips (Jamensis) 2 litre pot

I always think it an unfortunate name, but it does fit the plant perfectly, its bushy, hardy, tough, proud, perky and the bi-colour flowers flower forever! We had to remove flower buds from 4 inch cuttings! – it really cannot help itself, its mission in life is to flower forever… Leaves are fragrant as with all Salvias.

be warned this is not stable so it may revert to pink when it wants to – or white even for a whole season – but whichever way it grows and flowers it is quirky!

We hard prune 2/3 off early Spring.

They love our clay. Feed when flowering if needed.
