Solomon’s Seal – Verticiliatum – 2 litre
Highly unusual a very rare, this variety we could not resist as it does not look like a Solomans Seal. It is so different, forming a dense mound of slender yet very strong arching fronds which become covered in tiny white flowers dripping down the stems. Very delicate looking, but fully hardy and sturdy. This is the only variety which produces little red berries in the autumn. This, and all of the other Polygonatum are produced from very large stock plants that we divide at the end of each year.

Polygonatum is an old fashioned and traditional springtime favourite and we grow 2 varieties; suited to woodlands they all like moist, semi shaded situations, but will not complain too much in the sunshine.
